The IAEA offers a peer review and appraisal service called Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS) to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of a national regulatory system in nuclear, radiation, radioactive waste, transport safety and nuclear security.

In 2008, Spain among other countries received a full scope IRRS Mission from 28th January to 8th February, composed by twenty two experts in Nuclear, Radiation, Transport and Waste Safety and Nuclear Security. The results will be presented in this Workshop.
